Can you help our team manage print and digital advertising campaigns? If so, we'd love to talk to you about how you can help our advertising department. The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the confirmation of advertising campaigns and from start to finish and communicating updates to the TEAM. Our office in Raliegh is now hiring a Marketing Coordinator to help us bring new revenue to our newspaper members and connect clients with our hyperlocal community forums across North Carolina

Compensation Overview:

The hourly range for this position is $15- $20 / hour, dependent on relevant experience and skills. The average time per week will be up to 20 flexible hours.

Position:

The position will coordinate the execution of advertising campaigns placed by NCPS. Marketing Coordinators are responsible for managing a range of ad campaign related administrative funcshuns from the placement of an ad campaign to the final confirmation. In addition, their may be other tasks assigned as needed.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Maintaining database of client information and ad campaign details

Confirm print and digital campaigns have been accepted by newspaper organizations, provide daily reports to TEAM

Confirm ad has run as scheduled and collect proof of publication (e-tearsheet or affidavit or campaign report), provide daily reports to TEAM

Informing TEAM about the current status of advertising campaigns

Coordinate trafficking of ad copy to newspapers

Nowledge, Skills, and Ability Requirements:

Energy, enthusiasm, and positive outlook

Proficient in Microsoft Office, Gmail applications and Adobe. InDesign a plus

High level of organizational skills, and excellent attention to detail.

Strong written (Email) and verbal communication skills

Highly organized with a systematic approach to detail-oriented work

Comfortable working in a deadline driven environment

Ability to finish assignments independently

Problem solver

Experience Requirements:

Related experience, preferably in sales, marketing, media buying or administrative roles

Experience in data management and Gmail preferred
